What we collect

• Account info: email and authentication data via Clerk.
• Billing: subscriptions and one-off payments are processed by Stripe; we don’t store card details.
• Usage: we track monthly usage/credits in Upstash Redis to enforce plan limits.
• Analytics: Plausible (privacy-friendly) for page metrics.
• Diagnostics: error logs (e.g., Sentry/Logtail) to debug issues.

Uploads & processing

• No permanent storage: user image uploads are processed to generate a ZIP and are not saved after processing completes.
• Vendors: image upscaling uses Sharp and Real-ESRGAN (via Replicate) on our backend.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Clerk) and sessions. Plausible does not use tracking cookies by default.

Data retention

• Account data: kept while your account is active or as required by law.
• Usage/credit records: retained to enforce limits and for receipts/audit.
• Server/application logs: retained for a limited period for security and debugging.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@printupscale.com.

Service

PrintUpscale lets you upload an image and download a ZIP of print-ready sizes. You are responsible for the content you upload and must have the rights to process it.

Plans & limits

• Free (anonymous): 1 download / month.
• Free (signed in): 3 downloads / month.
• Starter: 50 downloads / month.
• Pro: 200 downloads / month.

We enforce limits with Upstash Redis. Abuse (automated scraping, sharing accounts, or attempts to bypass limits) may result in rate-limits or account suspension.

Acceptable use

Do not upload illegal content or material you lack permission to process. Do not probe or overload the service.

Availability

We aim for high availability, but the service is provided “as is” without warranty. There may be occasional downtime (e.g., provider incidents or maintenance).

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrintUpscale is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding a claim.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can manage or cancel via the billing portal from your account page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current period.

One-off credits

Single download credits are charged once and can be used at any time. They’re non-expiring.

Refund policy

• If you were charged in error or experienced a technical failure that prevented download, contact us within 14 days and we’ll make it right (replacement credit or refund).
• We generally can’t refund successfully used credits or elapsed subscription periods.

Receipts & taxes

All payments are processed by Stripe. Receipts are issued by Stripe to your email.
